Has Canada become the 51st state but just don't know it?

I was born in Canada. I have Family on both sides of the boarder. I have served in the U.S Army for 3 years two overseas tours. Now I am back in Canada. I have been here for about a month now and am wondering if Canada has become the 51st state. All the same food restaurants all the same big box stores. Things are more expensive. The "free health care" is not complete you still need dental, prescription and vision through paid coverage. Taxes up the butt. If you by a loaf of bread its 2 bucks for the bread and 30 cents in taxes. Also you have a gov policy that is the worst kind of liberal wacko stuff ever witnessed. The gov feels they have to protect you from yourself. I have been living in the states for the last 7 years I have a Texan wife. My friends I think I’m American now. Not to mention pop culture. Canadians follow U.S icons but in truth these people are living in a foreign country. Opinions please. Should I move back before I get arrested for hate speech :)

The Canadians continue to lull the US into complacency with talk such as yours all the time crowding our border and massing themselves for the invasion that they have planned. Fortunately there are those who see through the ruse and are faithfully on guard to stop the onslaught, you will be destroyed and will never accomplish your goal of overthrowing our government.
Reply:American popular culture and influence continues to spread across the earth, it's not just Canada, go to almost any other country and you will find Coca-Cola and McDonald's. This is one reason people don't like Americans, they feel as if their way of life is changing due to American influence.
Reply:Buddy, I highly suggests you head back. I mean, if you're stupid enough to serve in the US military, you can't be too sharp. Being born in Canada doesn't make you a Canadian.





Canada will never be the 51st state. Why would Canada join an inferior country? Makes no sense.....not that American's reasoning ever has.





I think you should definitely move to the states. You're pretty ignorant, so you'll blend right in.
