is flossing a american thing, because we dont really have adverts here in england for dental floss

The dentist says I should floss but that's so i'd buy their stupid products! I brush twice a day and that's good enough for me!

Reply:I use little wooden sticks that I got from the dentist , they stop plaque from forming because you simply push them through he gaps in your teeth.

Reply:Yes it really matters because brushing alone does not always remove the build up of food between ur teeth which causes bacteria %26amp; its the bacteria build up that causes cavitys. I floss b4 bed at night and use an anti-bacterial mouthwash (floss, brush, rinse). Oh and im from scotland if it matters lol

i have an appointment on monday, and if she asks if i floss, im gonna tell her "no, nor do i brush, now do your job, and mind your own effin buisness!!!!!!!"
Reply:i floss wen i have food stuck in between my teeth as sumtimes brushing dosnt get it all out,flossings important as wen u av bits of food stuck n over the day itl start 2 smell n give u bad breath n theres nothing worse i also use listerine mouthwash afterwards
