I need my wisdom teeth taken out and I have no dental ins., what do i do?!?
Phone your county or city health department and ask for an appointment. If extraction truly is necessary, they will advise you on applying for benefit if you qualify financially, and if not, will help you sort out a payment plan based on your ability to pay.
Reply:If there is a dental school in your area they normally offer the

same services for a small fee or free.
Reply:The fee still migtht not be small at the dental school or free. It might be 30 per cent off and they usually pick and choose the easier work.

I don't think a whole lot about the medical or dental professionals, who for the most part would rather that you suffer or die than not get paid their full amount. If I were in these professions, I would never treat people like this. They're probably sitting there reading this, and don't even want to offer advice for free.
Reply:Look in the yellow pages under insurance agent...one that sells health insurance. The one I went to offered a dental plan, I forget what company it was. But the monthly fee was only $7, there was a $50 to start it up, they covered more services than what most health insurance plans do, %26amp; you could use it the very next day!

Good luck!
Reply:You can get an affordable dental plan here: http://www.everyonebenefits.com/LMota You'll don't have to wait 6 months to use it, either. You can use it right away.
Reply:I'm a dentist.

Often times, the pain comes from inflammation of the ginginva that partially covers the lower wisdom teeth. This inflammation can come from infection and/or the upper molars biting down against it. The infection is caused by food and bacteria collecting underneath the gingiva covering the lower wisdom teeth.

Obviously, if you keep your wisdom teeth and surrounding gingiva squeaky clean, you can eliminate a major source of your pain. Warm saltwater rinses and meticulous brushing back in that area is appropriate.

That may postpone your need for extractions until you can get dental insurance.
