How often do you change your toothbrush?

The American Dental Association recommends every 3 months. I cant wait that long, I change mine every 3 weeks.

I change mine often too, about every 3-4 weeks. It's all about the oral....the oral hygiene.

Because after I brush my teeth, I put my toothbrush under hot water for a small bit (This kills some germs). My toothbrush is still good after 3 months.

Ok, seriously, whenever it is time like when it gets all bent out of shape, like my former wife. lol
Reply:Whenever I accidentally drop mine in the toilet ~~ it's "time" to get a new one. So, I go and write the word "toothbrush" on the nearest scrap of paper, stick it to the fridge, and then I find it 4 months later and go, "Oh, yeah."


Actually, by the time I find the note, I had already bought a new one! I simply forget to make a note to remove old notes from the fridge.........or something like that.





I have a good question, tho, after reading all your answerers who change out their's so often...........


What does everyone DO with their old toothbrushes????

Reply:Whew! Finally! someone else like me! And I thought I was the only one who changed her toothbrush about every 4 weeks... and put my toothbrush in peroxide once a week to sanitize. There is no way I could go as long as 3 months! ewwww... germs! Our mouths are... well... let's just say we put interesting things in our mouths... ღ♥ღ♥ღ
