They had it a hell of a lot better before we came along. We're just lucky we wiped them out almost totally, so they cant rebel and take THEIR land back. And the bills are not that much becasue they are so few. Think of it as hush money and GET OVER it!

Reply:Don't know where you are getting you information from but most of what you've said is not true. A lot of tribes are self governance and have nothing to do with the government.

Reply:They are Americans. OUR people are the reason the services exist, of course we expect OUR people to use them. If any of us suffer a crises and need them we expect them to be there for US, too, which won't be the case if they are drained by those with no right to be here.

As for the "good life".....Many reservations would not qualify as a ghetto, unemployment is huge, alcohol rampant (because of despair) and they live in country that encourages them to forget their heritage.


A few do indeed have the good life, mineral rights, casinos, being their ticket to prosperity. Not your tax dollars!!!!


After the "trail of tears" maybe they deserve a break.

Every Treaty except current ones were in fact broken. America hasn't given the children and great-grand children of slaves their 40 acres and a mule either! Restitution is in order! Most live on Poverty Striken Reservations and are not rich either. Most have still served in the United States Military, What about you?
